Ladybugs are actually beetles, also known as ladybird beetles. They are good guys in the garden - they like to eat aphids!
Bees are also good guys in the garden - they pollinate flowers. Without them we would not be able to grow the fruits and vegetables we like to eat.
Slugs - we grow' em big in the northwest! At least Sluggie doesn't eat the marigolds or leave much of a mess (no slime).
